The story focuses on five comedians - Jim Moir (Vic Reeves), Spencer Jones, Bec Hill, Simon Munnery and Miriam Elia - as they create artwork over the course of three years, for a group exhibition in central London. The film is written, directed, narrated and partly shot by Jim's son, Louis. Their relationship is explored throughout the plot. Louis Moir says: "I have explored the lives of some incredibly talented individuals and to discover a collection of people that share the same values and approach to comedy and art in a similar way as my dad, has been a cathartic process for me as a filmmaker, and as his son."[收起部分]

Brent captured many wars on the front lines, but he cared most about the people caught in the middle. On March 13, 2022, Brent was gunned down by Russian soldiers. His younger brother Craig Renaud recovered Brent’s body and his final recordings from Ukraine, and brought them home to Arkansas. Brent’s journey home also serves as a window into what drove him as a journalist, and how he viewed the world through his lens.
